As tradition in the passing of noteworthy luminaries, let us now take a minute to remember the deeds past and ill-conceived of the once shadowy character that was Wayang Party.
Front page news greeted the reader to the revelation of the truth identity behind the Temasek Review blog and the now defunct Wayang Party Blog. A titian in his time, the webmaster that went by many names is now revealed to be Dr Joseph Ong Chor Teck. Yes boys and girls, a doctor.
Once we thought the TR man to be a ghost, a figment of our imagination. Never did we expect we could get an appointment with him at Healthway Medical Clinic, Blk 118 Rivervale Drive #02-17 Rivervale Plaza. In fact if you were ever so lucky, you might have already met him in person. Yes, perhaps he already had the pleasure of examining your wife or children. Perhaps I will pay him a visit tomorrow.
In honour of the man, I have prepared a quick list of persons or organizations he may wish to apologise to at rapid speed. As a doctor, I assume he would be too busy to remember them himself. My memory may be waning so this is by no means a complete list:
1) Workers’ Party – the Wayang Party Blog owes its origins to mysterious “wayang party” fliers outside the WP 50th anniversary dinner. The press did an email interview with the site, only for the owner to deny involvement. Perhaps the Malay boys he had paid to put up the fliers will now have a name to go with his face.
2) SPH – TR has accused SPH and its blogger Geoffrey Pereira for grabbing contents of his site and initiating a DOS attack on it.
3) Remy Choo – Wayang Party informant exposes TOC then editor Remy Choo’s links to the PAP and begins inserting Trojan horses into the group
4) Kent Ridge Common – TR co-ops KRC writer Kelvin Teo and attempts to steal its intellectual property.
5) Teo Ho Pin – Wayang Party harasses Northwest CDC and alleges that staff there received 8 months bonuses
6) Foyce Le Xuan – TR ‘writer’ claims possession of sex tape between Foyce and Jack Neo.
7) YPAP – TR launches personal attacks against YPAP member Jack Lin and reveals his homosexual inclinations. TR also persistently attack YPAP leader Sinha Shekhar and attempts to get HDB to investigate him for illegal renting of HDB flat.
I’m sure there are many more but these are those that I can remember offhand. Naturally I expect some issues like the anti-pap fliers in Sengkang to be linked back to TR. Can you smell sedition?
One things for certain though, unlike Mr Toastbox, his identity is known to all. So take a bow Eugene Yeo, Jeremy Yau, Fang Zhi Yuan, Molina Han, ‘Correspondents’, Admin….whateva you wanna call yourself….. your curtain has drawn. In some sort of poetic tragedy, the wayang kulit by Dr Joseph Ong Chor Teck comes to an abrupt end.

I am one of the victims who was threatened with the identity of my organisation in the comments by the “moderator” when he (now I know and have a face behind the moderator) could not answer my questions about lack of transparency and obvious biasness of their articles. This is just a taste of his own medicine.
Just read the headline. TNP is not even sure he is behind TR yet you
bought into SPH’s spin doctor report before getting the facts. If the MSMs
(esp TNP which actually reports junk anyway) is reliable, they wouldn’t
be ranked so miserably low in freedom of press ranking

You do not believe in the MSMs but you seems to believe the garbage that TR has been publishing all these while. MSMs is lowly ranked in freedom of press, TR on the other hand, is lowly ranked in credibility of press. Take your pick.

All the proof you need is in the TNP article. Perhaps you are illiterate, or did not even read the story before you concluded that the press is wrong and he has got to be an innocent lamb in this. Cos he is the poor ol’ freedom fighter and anti-establishment martyr right? LOL.
This guy is dumber than we think. The only reason SPH managed to get the scoop is because he was stupid enough to blab all his misdeeds of the past, including his whoring to the police when he was intergorrated.
This guy is the typical loser-coward so many of us suddenly get exposed to in NS. The kind of guys who love to talk big and once when threatened or intimidated, cowers and shakes uncontrollably in fear and vomits all his skeletons out asking for mercy so he won’t get a beating to his ugly face.
Any newspaper wouldn’t risk a lawsuit by running such an unambiguous and direct and no-holds-barred story pointing so definitely to the identity of the person with face and name published, nothing anonymous about it. TNP is not anonymous, you know what its building is, where its staff work, and who wrote the story.
This is on stark contrast to the cowardly operations of TR and its now unveiled ball-less one-man-show founder Joseph Ong.
This expose reminds me of the time when ST ran the story on NKF’s gold tap, risking a lawsuit from Durai. Durai did decide to sue, and SPH went ahead to back its journalist in the lawsuit. And we all know what happened next.
Joseph Ong Chor Teck, if you are really not the founder of TR which we know you are, you would have sued SPH long ago. We also know you repeatedly threatened SPH with lawsuits when the journalist approached you for comments before the story was run, in order to prevent the story from running. This was blatantly written with gusto in the TNP story. You must have been quaking in fear, your balls shrunkened. Why are you so quiet now? Where is your lawsuit? I would love to see Joseph Ong file a lawsuit against SPH. It would be a great show for us to watch, as you do yourself in.
